Why are the brakes on my Audi A2 not working properly?

I noticed that my Audi A2's brakes are not as responsive as they used to be. The car takes longer to come to a complete stop and the brake pedal feels spongy. What could be causing this issue?

It is possible that your brake pads have worn out and need to be replaced. Along with replacing the pads, it is also important to have the brake system checked for any potential leaks or issues with the brake lines.

Another reason for your brakes not working properly could be a problem with the brake fluid. If the fluid level is low or if it has become contaminated, it can affect the performance of the brakes. Consider getting your brake fluid flushed and replaced.

It is also possible that your brake rotors are warped or damaged, which can cause vibrations and decreased braking efficiency. Get your car inspected by a mechanic to determine if the rotors need to be resurfaced or replaced.
