When should I change the engine oil in an Audi?

I'm unsure about how often I should change the oil in my Audi, and what type of oil I should use. Can anyone provide some guidance?

The engine oil should be changed every 10,000 miles or at least once a year, whichever comes first. Make sure to use a high-quality synthetic oil, such as Mobil 1 or Castrol EDGE.
