What is the typical oil pressure reading for an Audi 80 engine?

I recently bought an Audi 80 with a 1.8L engine and I noticed that the oil pressure gauge is not showing any reading. Is this normal or do I need to get it checked?

The typical oil pressure reading for an Audi 80 engine with a 1.8L engine should be between 30-50 PSI when the engine is warm and running at idle. This is within the normal range and indicates good oil pressure.

Make sure to check the oil level and the condition of the oil. Low oil levels or dirty oil can affect the oil pressure readings. Also, make sure to check for any oil leaks that could be causing the low reading.

I had a similar issue with my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a faulty oil pressure sensor. I would recommend getting it checked by a mechanic to be safe.
