What is the recommended timing belt change interval for an Audi A2?

I recently bought a used Audi A2 and was wondering when the timing belt should be changed. I want to make sure I am proactive about maintaining my car.

The recommended interval for changing the timing belt on an Audi A2 is every 90,000 miles or every 6 years, whichever comes first.

It is important to also replace the water pump and tensioner when changing the timing belt on an Audi A2 to ensure optimal performance.

I personally recommend getting the timing belt changed every 80,000 miles just to be on the safe side.
