ReplyI would recommend using a synthetic oil with a viscosity of 5W-40. This type of oil is specially formulated for high-performance engines like the one in the Audi R8.
I've been using a 0W-40 oil for my R8 and it's been running smoothly. Just make sure to do regular oil changes and your engine should be fine.
I've heard good things about using a full-synthetic oil with a 10W-60 viscosity for the R8. It may be a bit more expensive but it will definitely protect your engine in the long run.
