What is the most efficient way to replace the rear brake pads on an Audi A2?

I have noticed my Audi A2's rear brake pads are worn out and need replacing. I have some mechanical knowledge but have never changed brake pads before. I am not sure where to start. Can anyone provide a step by step guide or any tips to make the process easier?

First, make sure you have all the necessary tools and materials, including new brake pads, a jack, and a socket wrench. Then, loosen the wheel nuts and jack up the rear of the car. Remove the wheel and use a C-clamp to compress the brake caliper. You can then easily replace the old brake pads with the new ones and reattach the brake caliper.

In addition to the steps mentioned by Samantha, it is important to also clean the brake caliper and make sure the brake rotor is in good condition before installing the new pads. You can use brake cleaner to remove any dirt and grime from the caliper. Also, double check that all parts are properly attached and tightened to ensure safe and efficient braking.
