What is the ideal brake disc diameter for an Audi A4?

I recently noticed that my Audi A4's brakes are starting to feel noticeably weaker. I suspect it's time for a brake disc replacement, but I'm not sure what diameter would be the most optimal for my car. What size should I consider?

It's important to consider your driving habits when choosing a brake disc diameter for your Audi A4. If you frequently drive in stop-and-go traffic, a larger diameter disc may provide better braking performance and longevity. However, if you mainly drive on highways, a smaller diameter disc may be just as effective.

In general, larger brake discs provide better heat dissipation and thus better braking performance. However, keep in mind that larger discs may be heavier and can potentially affect your car's fuel efficiency. You should also consider the cost of replacement discs when making your decision.

I personally recommend sticking to the recommended diameter size specified by Audi for your model. This will ensure proper fitment and compatibility with your car's braking system. Furthermore, using genuine parts is always a good idea for optimal performance and longevity.
