What is the difference between Audi's Quattro All-Wheel Drive and Torsen All-Wheel Drive systems?

I've been looking at Audi cars and noticed they offer two different all-wheel drive systems: Quattro and Torsen. What are the main differences between these two systems and how do they affect the car's performance?

The Quattro All-Wheel Drive system is Audi's proprietary technology and has been a staple in their lineup since the 1980s. It uses a central differential to distribute power between the front and rear axles and can vary the amount of power sent to each axle as needed. This allows for better traction and handling on various road conditions.

On the other hand, the Torsen All-Wheel Drive system is a type of differential that Audi also uses in their Quattro system. It is a mechanical, torque-sensing differential that can distribute power between the front and rear axles. However, unlike the Quattro system, it cannot vary the amount of power sent to each axle and is better suited for stability and grip on rough terrain or low traction situations.
