What is the difference between Audi R8 coupe and R8 Spyder?

I'm considering buying an Audi R8 but I'm not sure whether to go for the coupe or the Spyder model. What are the main differences between the two models and which one would you recommend?

The Audi R8 coupe is a 2-door, 2-seater sports car while the R8 Spyder is a 2-door, 2-seater convertible. The main difference between the two is the roof, as the coupe has a fixed hardtop while the Spyder has a retractable soft top. If you want a more open and exhilarating driving experience, I would recommend the Spyder. However, if you prefer a more classic sports car look and feel, the coupe may be a better option.

Apart from the roof, the R8 coupe and Spyder have similar performance features including a V10 engine and Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system. However, the coupe is slightly lighter and slightly faster in acceleration due to its fixed roof design. That being said, the differences in performance are minimal and it ultimately comes down to personal preference.
