What is the difference between Audi A1's TFSI and TDI engines?

I'm considering buying an Audi A1 and I've noticed that there are both TFSI and TDI engines available for this model. Can you explain the difference between the two and help me decide which one is best for my needs?

The TFSI engine is a petrol/gasoline engine, while the TDI engine is a diesel engine. The main difference is that TDI engines are more fuel-efficient and have better torque at low rpm, while TFSI engines generally have more horsepower and better high-end performance. If you are mainly driving in the city and want better fuel economy, go for the TDI. If you enjoy a spirited driving experience on the highway, the TFSI might be more suitable.
