I'm trying to decide between these two models of Audi 80 and I can't seem to find any concrete information on their differences. Can anyone who is familiar with these cars provide some insight?
ReplyThe main difference is the engine type - the 1.8S has a SOHC engine while the 1.8E has a DOHC engine. The 1.8S also has a slightly higher horsepower output. In terms of other features and specifications, they are quite similar.
I own an Audi 80 1.8S and in my experience, it has been a reliable and smooth ride. I can't speak for the 1.8E, but if you're looking for a dependable and practical car, I can vouch for the 1.8S.
Having owned both the Audi 80 1.8S and 1.8E, I can say that the differences are quite minimal. The biggest one for me was the exterior design and some slight variations in the interior features. It ultimately comes down to personal preference.
