I'm having issues with my MMI system and want to know how to reset it. I don't want to lose any of my saved settings or data.
ReplyFirst, press and hold the MENU and CAR buttons simultaneously on your MMI system for about 10 seconds. A reboot menu should appear on the screen. Select 'Reboot MMI' and confirm with the button on the right hand side of the control knob. This should reset your system without losing any saved settings. If this doesn't work, try disconnecting the car's battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it.
To reset your MMI system, you can also try pressing the soft reset button located near the CD changer, or the physical reset button located under the right-hand side of the dashboard. If these options do not work, try contacting your local Audi dealership for assistance.
