ReplyThe AC charging rate for the Audi e-tron is 9.6 kW, which is the standard charging rate for most Level 2 chargers. However, with the optional onboard charger upgrade, it can reach a maximum of 12 kW.
While it may seem slow compared to other electric cars, 9.6 kW is actually quite reasonable for an SUV with a larger battery capacity. Plus, you can always use a fast DC charger for quicker charging.
In my experience, the 12 kW onboard charger upgrade is definitely worth the investment if you plan on using your e-tron for long road trips. It can significantly cut down charging times.
