What is quattro all wheel drive?

I've been researching Audi cars and have come across the term "quattro all wheel drive", but I'm not quite sure what it means or how it differs from regular all wheel drive. Could someone explain?

Quattro all wheel drive, as the name suggests, is a system that provides power to all four wheels of the vehicle. This ensures better traction and control, especially in slippery or uneven road conditions.

S

Compared to traditional all wheel drive systems, Audi's quattro uses a self-locking center differential and torque vectoring technology to distribute power between the front and rear axles as needed, resulting in better handling and stability.

A

Not only does quattro all wheel drive improve performance and handling, but it also enhances safety by allowing the car to maintain better control in emergency situations. I would highly recommend it if you frequently drive in challenging weather or road conditions.
