What does the 'EPC' warning light on an Audi A2 mean?

I noticed that the 'EPC' warning light on my Audi A2 turned on while driving. It's a yellow light with the letters 'EPC'. What does it mean and what should I do?

The 'EPC' warning light stands for 'Electronic Power Control' and indicates an issue with your car's throttle system. It's best to stop driving and have your car inspected by a mechanic as soon as possible.

I had the same problem with my Audi A2 and the 'EPC' warning light turned out to be caused by a faulty oxygen sensor. Take your car to a certified mechanic to have it checked and possibly replaced.

The 'EPC' warning light could also be triggered by a loose gas cap. Check the cap and make sure it's properly screwed on. If the light persists, take your car to a mechanic.
