What can cause the engine of an Audi 80 to produce a rattling sound?

I've noticed that my 2005 Audi 80 has been making a rattling sound whenever I start the engine. It goes away after a while, but it's concerning. What could be the root cause of this issue?

It's possible that the rattling sound is coming from a loose heat shield on the exhaust system. Inspect the heat shield and tighten any loose bolts to fix the issue.
