What can cause the engine of an Audi 80 to overheat rapidly?

I have a 2001 Audi 80 that recently began overheating very quickly. Even after filling up the coolant, the engine will overheat within minutes of driving. What could be causing this issue?

It sounds like you may have a leak in your cooling system. Check for any visible leaks or cracks in the hoses and connections. If you can't find a visible leak, it may be a problem with the water pump or radiator.

Another possibility could be a faulty thermostat. If the thermostat is not opening and closing properly, it can cause the engine to overheat quickly. Consider replacing it if all other possible causes have been ruled out.
