I am in the market for a high-performance sports car and have been eyeing the Audi R8. However, I am confused about the differences between the V10 and V10 Plus models. Can someone please shed some light on this?
ReplyThe primary difference between the R8 V10 and V10 Plus is the engine power. The V10 Plus has a more powerful 5.2L V10 engine, generating 602 horsepower compared to the V10's 562 horsepower. This translates to a faster 0-60 mph time of 2.9 seconds for the V10 Plus compared to 3.4 seconds for the V10.
Apart from the engine, the V10 Plus also comes with standard carbon-ceramic brakes, a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, and a carbon fiber rear diffuser, making it lighter and more agile on the track. Additionally, the V10 Plus has a top speed of 205 mph compared to the V10's 199 mph top speed.
One thing to note is that the V10 Plus is only available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the V10 offers both a six-speed manual and the automatic. Moreover, the V10 Plus also comes with standard dynamic steering and magnetic ride adaptive damping, providing better handling and control in different driving situations.
