What are the major differences between the Audi A6 TFSI and TDI engines?

I am trying to decide between the TFSI and TDI engine options for the Audi A6, but I am not sure what sets them apart. Can someone provide a detailed comparison?

The TFSI engine is a turbocharged petrol engine, while the TDI engine is a turbocharged diesel engine. The TFSI offers more power and quicker acceleration, but the TDI provides better fuel efficiency and torque.

If you have a longer commute or do a lot of highway driving, the TDI engine may be a better choice as it can achieve higher mileage. However, for shorter trips and city driving, the TFSI engine may be more suitable.
