Should I opt for the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron hybrid model?

I'm looking to purchase an Audi A3 and I am interested in the e-tron hybrid model. However, I'm not sure if it's worth the extra cost and maintenance compared to the regular gas model. Can anyone provide insights or personal experiences?
