Should I drop the keyboard and continue shifting in the Audi e-Tron?

I recently bought an Audi e-Tron and am wondering whether it's better to continue driving in manual mode, or shift to automatic. I want to maximize the efficiency and performance of the electric engine. Any thoughts?
