Is the Audi R8's V10 engine better than its V8 engine?

I'm trying to decide between the V10 and the V8 engine options for the Audi R8. I know the V10 is more powerful, but is it worth the extra cost? I want to make sure I'm getting the best performance and value for my money.

In my experience, the V10 engine is definitely worth the extra cost. Not only does it have more power and a more thrilling driving experience, but it also holds its value better in the long run. I've had my R8 for 5 years now and still get compliments on its performance and sound.

I actually prefer the V8 engine for everyday driving. It has plenty of power and is more fuel efficient. Unless you plan on taking your R8 to the track regularly, I would save the money and go with the V8.
