Is the Audi e-Tron's virtual side mirrors worth the extra cost compared to regular side mirrors?

I am considering purchasing an Audi e-Tron but I am not sure if I should opt for the virtual side mirrors. They seem like a cool and futuristic feature, but is it actually worth the additional cost?
