Is it possible to disable start-stop function in my Audi Q3 and is it advisable to do so?

My Audi Q3 has the start-stop function that shuts off the engine while idling to save fuel. However, I find this system to be quite jarring and would like to turn it off permanently. Is there a way to disable it and is it safe for my car in the long run?

Yes, it is technically possible to disable the start-stop function in your Audi Q3. You can do this by using a diagnostic tool or by taking your car to an Audi dealership. However, disabling this function may affect your car's fuel efficiency and emissions.

While it may be possible to disable the start-stop function, it is not advisable to do so. This system is designed to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions, both of which are important considerations for the environment.
