How to troubleshoot the MMI system in an Audi A1?

I've been having some issues with the MMI system in my Audi A1. It randomly freezes and sometimes the sound cuts out. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It seems like there may be a software issue with your MMI system. Have you tried resetting it by holding down the Menu and Navigation buttons for 10 seconds? This could resolve the freezing issue.
