I recently purchased an Audi A6 and have been having issues with the MMI Navigation System. It keeps freezing and sometimes doesn't register my inputs correctly. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if there is a solution.
ReplyIn order to troubleshoot MMI Navigation System issues, the first thing you should try is performing a reset. This can be done by simultaneously pressing and holding the upper-right control knob and the top-right corner of the screen for 10 seconds. If this doesn't work, you may need to bring your car to a certified Audi technician for further diagnosis.
I had a similar issue with my Audi A6 and found out that it was caused by a faulty GPS antenna. The dealership replaced it under warranty and I haven't had any problems since. If your car is still under warranty, it's worth getting it checked out.
Make sure your MMI system is up to date with the latest software. You can check for updates through the Audi website or by bringing your car to a dealership. Sometimes outdated software can cause glitches and malfunctions in the system.
