How to troubleshoot Audi engine misfires?

Recently, my Audi's engine has been misfiring and causing rough idling. I want to fix this issue but I have no clue where to start. Can anyone provide some guidance on how to diagnose and fix this problem?

First, check your spark plugs and ignition coils. These are common culprits for engine misfires in Audis. If those are fine, then it may be an issue with your fuel injectors or a clogged air filter. It's best to take it to a mechanic if you're not confident in self-diagnosing.

I had the same issue with my Audi a few months ago. Turned out to be a faulty fuel pressure regulator. Get it checked out and possibly replaced by a professional mechanic.

Another common cause for engine misfires in Audis is a failing crankshaft sensor. This can result in poor fuel efficiency and even stalling. Take your car to a trusted mechanic to get the sensor tested and possibly replaced.
