How to troubleshoot a squeaking noise from the brakes on my Audi A4?

I have noticed a high-pitched squeaking noise every time I apply the brakes on my 2018 Audi A4. I have recently had my brakes checked and the technician said they are in good condition, so I'm not sure what could be causing the noise. Is there anything else I can check or do to fix this issue? Thank you.

It is possible that the brake pads are wearing unevenly, causing the squeaking noise. Have a technician check the wear pattern on the pads and consider replacing them if needed. Also, make sure the brake rotors are clean and free of debris as this can also contribute to noise.

Another potential cause of noise from the brakes could be a loose bracket or caliper. Make sure all components are securely fastened and tighten any loose parts. If the noise persists, it may be worth getting a second opinion from a different technician.

One easy fix for brake noise is to apply a small amount of anti-squeal lubricant to the back of the brake pads. This can help reduce friction and eliminate the noise. Just make sure to use a specific brake lubricant and follow the instructions carefully.
