How to switch on the parking brake in an Audi A1?

I am new to driving an Audi A1 and I cannot find the parking brake. Can someone please tell me where it is and how to switch it on?

To switch on the parking brake, press on the foot brake and pull up on the parking brake lever located between the front seats. Make sure to release the foot brake before pulling up the lever. As a side note, always engage the parking brake when parking your Audi A1 as it helps preserve the transmission and brakes.

I've been driving an Audi A1 for years now and I still sometimes forget to engage the parking brake. The lever is located between the front seats, just below the armrest. Simply pull it up to switch on the parking brake. Don't forget to release it before driving!
