How to reset the trip computer on my Audi 80?

I recently purchased an Audi 80 and noticed that the trip computer has incorrect mileage. How do I reset it to accurately track my mileage?

First, you'll need to locate the trip computer button on your dashboard. It's usually near the speedometer and looks like a small black button. Once you find it, press and hold it for at least 5 seconds to reset the trip computer.
