How to reset the on-board computer on an Audi A1?

I am looking for a way to reset the on-board computer on my Audi A1 without disconnecting the battery. Is it possible to do so and if yes, how?

To reset the on-board computer on an Audi A1, you can try the following steps: 1. Press and hold the Trip button on the instrument cluster. 2. While still holding the Trip button, turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. 3. Release the Trip button when the service display appears. 4. Use the +/- buttons on the instrument cluster to select the RESET option. 5. Press the OK button to confirm the reset. 6. Turn off the ignition and then start the engine to see if the computer has been reset.

There is a keyless reset option for the on-board computer on Audi A1 vehicles. Simply press and hold the lock button on your key fob for about 5 seconds to lock the car. Then, press and hold the unlock button for about 5 seconds until the windows open. This will initiate a reset of the on-board computer.

One way to reset the on-board computer on your Audi A1 is to disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes. However, keep in mind that this may also reset other settings and preferences on your car.
