How to reset the oil service light on an Audi A6?

I recently got an oil change on my Audi A6, but the service light is still on. How can I reset it so that it accurately reflects the next scheduled oil change?

To reset the oil service light on your Audi A6, you will need to access the MMI (Multi-Media Interface) system and go to the car menu. From there, navigate to the service and checks menu, and then select oil change interval. You can then reset the service reminder by following the prompts on the screen.

Another way to reset the oil service light on an Audi A6 is to use the key fob. With the vehicle off, press and hold the unlock button on the key fob, while at the same time pressing the lock button three times. The service interval should then reset and the oil service light should turn off.

If the above methods do not work, it may be necessary to use an OBD2 scanner to reset the oil service light. Simply plug in the scanner and follow the instructions to reset the service reminder. This method may be more complex, but it is a sure way to reset the light.
