How to reset the Audi A3 service light?

I recently purchased a used Audi A3 and the service light came on. How do I reset it to get rid of the alert?

To reset the service light on an Audi A3, first start the engine and make sure the message 'Service Due!' is displayed on the instrument panel. Then, press and hold the button on the right side of the display until the green service menu appears. Use the button on the left to select 'Reset Oil Change Interval' and press the right button to confirm. Finally, press and hold the reset button until the 'Resetting Oil Change Interval' message appears.
