How to replace the brake pads on my Audi A4?

I have been experiencing a strange noise when braking and suspect it is time to replace my brake pads. How can I do this myself on my Audi A4?

First, jack up your car and remove the front wheels. Then, remove the caliper bolts and slide out the old pads. Make sure to clean the caliper and install the new pads before reattaching the caliper and wheel.

It's always a good idea to inspect your rotors while replacing the brake pads. If they are worn or damaged, it's best to replace them too for optimal braking performance.

Make sure to properly bed in your new brake pads by driving at varying speeds and lightly braking for the first 100 miles. This will ensure they wear evenly and provide optimal stopping power.
