How to replace a headlight on an Audi 80?

I recently noticed that one of my Audi 80's headlights is out and I want to replace it myself. However, I have never done it before and I am not sure where to start. Can anyone provide a step-by-step guide or some helpful tips?

First, make sure you have the right replacement bulb for your Audi 80 model and year. Then, open the hood of your car and locate the back of the headlight assembly. You may need to remove some parts, such as the air intake or battery, to access it. Carefully remove the old bulb by twisting it counterclockwise and replace it with the new one. Remember to wear gloves to prevent touching the bulb's glass with your bare hands, as it may reduce its lifespan.

If you're not very confident with DIY car maintenance, it may be best to leave it to a professional. Even for a simple task like replacing a headlight, there are many things that could go wrong without proper knowledge and experience. Plus, it's always a good idea to have a certified mechanic check your car regularly anyways.

Before attempting to replace the headlight, make sure the car's engine is completely turned off and the headlights are not hot. You also want to avoid touching the bulb's contacts, as it may cause it to fail faster. Take your time and follow the instructions on your car manual, or look for tutorials online if needed. It's not a difficult task, just requires some caution and attention to detail.
