I have a 2019 Audi A6 and I can't figure out how to program the headlights to turn on automatically when it gets dark. I have searched through the owner's manual but could not find any instructions. Can someone please guide me on how to do this?
ReplyTo program your Audi A6's automatic headlights, first turn on the headlights manually. Then, press and hold the Auto button on the headlight switch for 10 seconds. Release the button and the headlights will turn off, indicating that they are now programmed to turn on automatically when it gets dark.
Another method to program your headlights is through the MMI display. Go to the Vehicle menu and select Settings. From there, choose the Lighting menu and then select Automatic Headlight Range Control. Here, you can adjust the setting to turn on automatically when it gets dark.
I had the same issue with my Audi A6 and I found out that the automatic headlights are only available on models with the Premium Plus or Prestige trim levels. If your car does not have these trims, then you won't be able to program the automatic headlights.
