The multimedia interface (MMI) display on my Audi A6 has stopped working. The screen is completely blank and none of the buttons respond. How can I fix this issue?
ReplyThe most common cause of this issue is a faulty MMI control panel. You can try resetting the MMI system by simultaneously pressing the Menu and Top right buttons on the control panel for 10 seconds. If this doesn't work, you may need to replace the control panel.
Another possible cause is a software glitch in the MMI system. Try updating the MMI software to the latest version to see if that resolves the issue. You can download the software update from the Audi website.
In some cases, a faulty battery can cause issues with the MMI display. Check the battery voltage using a multimeter and replace if necessary. You can also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and reconnecting it to see if that helps.
