How to fix engine misfire in an Audi A4?

I've noticed my Audi A4 has been having engine misfires recently. The check engine light is on and the car feels shaky when idling. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it?

The most common cause of engine misfires in Audis is faulty spark plugs. Check and replace the spark plugs if necessary. You should also check the ignition coils and fuel injectors.

If your Audi has high mileage, it may be time to replace the timing belt. A worn out timing belt can cause engine misfires and other issues.

Another possible cause of misfires is a clogged or dirty fuel filter. Replace the fuel filter and see if that helps.
