How to fix a stuck electric window in an Audi A2?

My Audi A2's electric window is stuck and won't go back up. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

Check the window regulator and motor for any signs of damage. If found, replace them with genuine Audi parts. If there is no visible damage, try resetting the window by holding down the button for 30 seconds. If that doesn't work, take it to a professional mechanic.
