How to fix a non-functioning weather display in an Audi A4?

The weather display in my Audi A4 stopped working after a recent software update. The temperature is no longer displayed and the weather icon is not updating. How can I fix this issue?

To fix this issue, you'll need to reset the MMI infotainment system. First, hold down the 'setup' button until a new menu appears. Then, go to 'car' and choose 'factory settings'. Select 'set' and then confirm the reset by entering the security code, which can be found in your owner's manual.

If resetting the MMI system does not fix the issue, it is likely a software bug. Contact your Audi dealership for a software update.

Before going to the dealership, try unplugging and reconnecting the battery. This may reset the system and fix the weather display.
