How to fix a malfunctioning fuel injection system on an Audi 80?

My Audi 80's fuel injection system seems to be malfunctioning. The engine is sputtering and it's losing power. How can I diagnose and fix this issue?

First, I recommend checking the fuel injectors and fuel lines for any clogs or leaks. This could be causing the issues you are experiencing. Additionally, make sure the fuel filter is clean and the fuel pump is functioning properly. If these components are all in good condition, you may need to replace the fuel pressure regulator.

One common cause for fuel injection problems in the Audi 80 is a faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. This can result in incorrect air/fuel mixture ratios and cause sputtering and loss of power. Try cleaning or replacing the MAF sensor as a first step in troubleshooting this issue.
