How to enable hill hold assist in the Audi A1?

I want to prevent my Audi A1 from rolling backwards on hills. Is there a way to enable the hill hold assist feature?

You can enable hill hold assist by pressing the button with an image of a car on a hill on your control panel. It's located near the gear shifter.

To activate hill hold assist, you can also use the MMI system in your Audi A1. Go to 'Car' and then 'Settings'. You can turn it on there.
