I recently purchased an Audi A5 and I am trying to figure out how to enable Apple CarPlay. I want to be able to use my iPhone for navigation and hands-free calling, but I am not sure how to get it set up.
ReplyTo enable Apple CarPlay on your Audi A5, you will need to first make sure your vehicle is equipped with the Audi Smartphone Interface. If it is, then connect your iPhone to your vehicle using a USB cable.
Once your iPhone is connected to your Audi A5, go to the Audi MMI menu and select the smartphone icon. From there, you can enable Apple CarPlay and follow the prompts to set it up.
If you are having trouble getting Apple CarPlay to work, try restarting your iPhone and/or your vehicle. This often resolves connectivity issues between the two devices.
