I just bought a new Audi A5 and I can't seem to figure out how to enable Apple CarPlay. I've connected my phone and tried to activate it, but it just won't work. What am I missing?
ReplyTo enable Apple CarPlay on your Audi A5, first make sure that you have the latest software update installed on your car's infotainment system. Then, connect your iPhone using a lightning cable and go to the CarPlay settings in the Audi MMI menu. From there, you can select which apps you want to use with CarPlay.
If you're having trouble with your Audi A5 not recognizing your iPhone for CarPlay, try using a different cable. Sometimes, using a cheap or damaged cable can cause connectivity issues. Additionally, make sure to have the latest version of the iOS installed on your iPhone.
I've had a similar issue with my Audi A5 and what worked for me was going to the Apple CarPlay settings on my iPhone and selecting 'Forget This Car'. After that, I reconnected my phone to the car and it started working just fine.
