How to enable Apple CarPlay in my Audi A3?

I recently purchased a new Audi A3 and I'm having trouble setting up Apple CarPlay. Can someone walk me through the steps and requirements to enable this feature?

First, ensure that your Audi A3 is equipped with the Audi Smartphone Interface feature. If not, it can be added as an option. Once confirmed, connect your iPhone to your vehicle using the USB cable and go to your car's settings menu to activate Apple CarPlay.

Before attempting to enable Apple CarPlay, make sure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version and you have the CarPlay app on your phone. Following this, connect your phone to your Audi A3 and select the CarPlay option on the MMI screen.
