How to disable the start/stop system on my Audi A3?

I find the automatic engine start/stop system on my Audi A3 to be annoying and would like to disable it permanently. Is there a way to do so without affecting any other systems on my car?

To disable the start/stop system on your Audi A3, simply press the start/stop button twice quickly when the engine is on. This will permanently disable the system until you turn it back on manually.
