How to disable start-stop system in Audi A6?

I would like to know how to turn off the automatic start-stop system in my Audi A6. It can be quite frustrating in stop-and-go traffic and I would like to have more control over my car's engine.

To disable the start-stop system in an Audi A6, locate the 'Auto/Off' button on your center console. Press and hold it for 5 seconds until the system turns off.
