I recently purchased an Audi A4, and whenever I unlock my car, the digital instrument cluster automatically turns on. Is there a way to disable this setting?
ReplyTo disable the automatic turning on of the digital instrument cluster in your Audi A4, go to the vehicle menu, select the 'Choose profile' option, and then uncheck the 'Automatic display activation' option. This will prevent the cluster from turning on every time you unlock the car.
You can also disable this setting by using the 'Settings' button on your steering wheel. Navigate to 'Instrument cluster' and choose the 'Digital displays' option. From there, you can turn off the 'Automatic activation' setting.
If you want to keep the digital instrument cluster off at all times, you can also change the default start settings by going to the 'Individual' menu and selecting the 'Start settings' option. From there, you can select 'Always off' for the instrument cluster.
