How to diagnose and fix a clicking noise in an Audi 80 engine?

I recently noticed a clicking sound coming from my Audi 80's engine. It seems to be more prominent when the car is idling or at low speeds. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution?

First, check the oil level and quality. Low or dirty oil can cause engine components to make noise. If your oil is good, then the clicking noise could be coming from a faulty lifter or valve. In that case, it's best to take your car to a mechanic.

I had a similar issue in my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a loose spark plug. Make sure all spark plugs are properly tightened and see if that solves the clicking noise.
