First, confirm if there is proper fuel pressure at the fuel rail. If there is no pressure, it could indicate a faulty fuel pump. One way to test this is by using a fuel pressure gauge and attaching it to the fuel rail port. If the pressure is too low, it could be a sign of a faulty pump. In this case, it is recommended to replace the fuel pump to fix the issue.

Another way to diagnose a faulty fuel pump is by inspecting the fuel pump relay and fuse. A damaged or failed relay or fuse can result in a non-working fuel pump. If they appear to be in good condition, the issue could be with the fuel pump itself.

Before replacing the fuel pump, it is advisable to check all the wiring and connections associated with it. It is possible that a loose or damaged wire could be causing the issue. Also, make sure to check the fuel filter and replace it if necessary, as a clogged filter can also impact the performance of the fuel pump.
